Hidden high in the clouds, the ancient snowy mountain tea trees have been preserved by generations of the Dao. Over time, the Dao have honoured the land, leaf and their traditions by honing their craft to produce tea reserved for sacred rituals and honoured guests all within their community. 

However a sincere young Dao tea maker emerged with a vision — to share the tea of his ancestors beyond their mountains and uplift his community. Gathering villagers, pooling resources, a co-op was formed ready to welcome guests to share in their tea.

This tea is crafted in the traditional method — freshly handpicked leaves are withered under the mountain sun, then pan-fired to halt oxidation, preserving the tea’s vibrant, living character. The leaves are gently rolled and left to dry naturally, allowing them to retain their wild essence. Once fully dried they remain in their wriggled forms frozen images of nature itself and their undergone process.

First infusion reveals a luminous, golden-amber liquor. Inhale deeply and discover layers of honey and dried stone fruits. On the palate, this Sheng Puerh is a revelation. It opens with a delicate sweetness, moving into a lively, clean texture with hints of stone fruit and wildflowers. All flavours combining to create a collage in the mind of the layers of the forest. The finish leaves an enduring sweetness that beckons you for more sweetness as you try to relive the montage of memories.
